cue prompt text line does not show up before touching the device

on command window cue prompt text line does not show up, only after the touch has done and a new command prompt line is appearing on the command window.
I think a new line character should print after the cue prompt text.

It is on Rocky Linux 10.2
and pam-rss instelled by rockylinux-pam-rssh-1.2.2-1.el10.x86_64.rpm

I cannot reproduce this, in fact the cue message is already printed with a new line which I consider annoying because when an action is requested, the cursor is generally not at the beginning of a blank line (think any prompt from your shell ("$ ") or for sign-in ("login: ", "password: "):

$ sudo -s
Please touch the device.
 <-- cursor is here while the device is waiting

yes, the bash prompt is custom:

colored prompt in format user@host:current-dir

export TERM=xterm-256color
PS1='\[\033[38;0;36m\][\u@\h:\w]\$\[\033[0m\]` 

[user@host:/home/user]$ sudo -s
<-- cursor is here while the device is waiting

but I have tested it with default prompt.

I basically have the same config, but am running FreeBSD and Debian nodes, so maybe this is related to the PAM implementation which is different in RedHat (FreeBSD use OpenPAM, Debian use linux-pam)?
