A useful next step might be to separate the repro into input, state/cache update, and final output for t.version.split. That would make it clearer whether “Help , Number(t.version.split(".")[0])” is failing during parsing/configuration, during internal state updates, or only at the user-visible result.
This is the same module-load failure as #647: the production bundle reaches the unguarded React version.split(...) read with a missing version export. #810 now links this report explicitly and includes a regression that reproduces the crash before the guard and passes afterward. A legacy rc-util release would still require a maintainer backport to 5.x; the PR targets the identical current source on master.
