Before: The
sdk-maintainersGitHub team (and every per-SDK child team under it) is nested understeering-committee, so SDK maintainers inherit that team's repository permissions but not themaintainersteam's.After:
sdk-maintainersis nested undermaintainers. SDK maintainers inherit everything granted tomaintainers:pushonmodelcontextprotocol(up fromtriage),pushonaccess(new), andpullonmaintainer-docs. The one permission that drops ismaintainer-docs, where they previously inheritedmaintainfromsteering-committeeand now inheritpull; every othersteering-committeegrant (docs, .github, inspector, quickstart-resources, servers) is already held directly bysdk-maintainersat the same level, so nothing else changes. How: one-line parent change in
src/config/roles.ts; Pulumi updatesparentTeamIdon the existingsdk-maintainersteam in place. Discord roles are unchanged (SDK maintainers already imply the maintainers role) and Google group membership reads direct roles only, so it is unaffected.Note: the Pulumi preview will also show the standing googleworkspace OrgUnit/GroupSettings drift, which is unrelated to this PR.
