TG-WebApp-Proxy lets you use Telegram right from your web browser. It connects directly to Telegram servers without needing extra software. This makes chatting, downloading, and managing files easy and fast.
TG-WebApp-Proxy is a full-featured Telegram client that runs inside your browser. It uses a secure method to connect called MTProto WebSocket. You do not need to install anything on your computer except your web browser.
This app also supports a Bot Mode. You can link a Telegram bot via its token and download files without limits on size. The app splits downloads into parts to make them faster.

Follow these steps carefully. They do not need any programming skills.

On the GitHub page, look for a section named Releases or Download. This area contains the files you will need.
Click on the latest release. Look for a file that works on Windows. It may have the .exe extension or a setup wizard.
Save the file to a folder you will remember, such as Downloads.
Open the folder where you saved the download. Double-click the .exe file to start the app.
The app will launch in your default web browser.
If Windows shows a security warning, choose to allow or run the app. This is normal for apps downloaded from the Internet.
Once open, you will see the Telegram interface right in your browser. You can log in with your phone number and begin chatting or downloading files.
After starting the app, you will see options similar to the Telegram mobile or desktop apps.
- Enter your phone number and confirm via the code Telegram sends you.
- You can join chats, view your contacts, and browse channels.

If the app does not start or connect:
- Check your internet connection.
- Make sure you are using a supported browser.
- Try refreshing the page or restarting the app.
- Ensure you entered the correct phone number during login.
- If the bot does not work, verify the bot token.
To update the app, revisit the GitHub page and download the latest release. Replace the older file with the new one.
TG-WebApp-Proxy connects directly to Telegram servers. It does not store your messages on external servers. Your data stays in your browser or Telegram’s secured servers.
The app uses the official MTProto protocol, the same one used by official Telegram apps.

- Create a bot on Telegram by talking to @BotFather.
- Copy the bot token provided by BotFather.
- Open TG-WebApp-Proxy.
- Paste the bot token in the Bot Mode section.
- Use the bot to download files directly from messages.
- The app lets you reply and manage bot messages from the browser.
- Use a good speed internet connection for large file downloads.
- Close unused browser tabs to free memory.
- Increase download workers in settings if your connection supports it.
- Adjust chunk sizes to optimize speed; defaults work fine for most users.
