Describe the bug
Four small issues observed during the v2.0.0-rc.1 macOS release-candidate pass (CI build, run 36336647912, macOS 26.5, Apple M1). Each is minor on its own; bundling for triage.
1. HUD timer can start tens of seconds after capture begins (after a stalled take-start)
On a take whose start stalled on the permissions window / TCC, capture (createdAt) begins well before the HUD timer starts counting — observed ≈20 s of media before the timer left 00:00, and a "00:01" read long after the press. Consequence: comparing file duration against the HUD timer is meaningless on such takes (it produced a false "pause records through the pause" during QA; a wall-clock re-test showed pause is correct: media = wall elapsed − paused interval within 0.7 s). Suggestion: start the timer from capture start, or anchor it to the same event as createdAt.
(Note for maintainers: the "00:01" pill read late is also a trap for automated QA that screenshots the HUD.)
2. Display pick does not survive an app relaunch
Right after picking a display in Apple's picker, the HUD and Record-mode source rows show the display's name ("Evanlak4K60"). After quitting and relaunching, the rows fall back to "Screen" / "Choose what to record" and the next take asks for a source again. May be intentional (per-session picker semantics), but it contradicts the pre-v2 behavior where the display source persisted across relaunches — flagging for a decision.
3. Media card shows "Detected language: English" on a silent asset
An asset whose audio track is digital silence shows both "No speech detected" and "Detected language: English" in the Media detail pane, with an empty transcript. The language chip should probably be hidden when there is no speech.
4. Zoom inspector: custom chip duplicates a preset
When the current zoom level equals a preset (e.g. 1.8×), the level row shows "1.8×" twice — once as the selected preset, once as the custom-value chip at the end of the row.
