You can tell I’m a TypeScript developer because I use emojis 🙈
Most of my classic programming mileage is in TypeScript, React, Next.js, NestJS, Java, and SQL, but I’m not attached to one language, framework, or layer of the stack. Part of the fun is figuring out what the problem actually needs and picking the right tool.
I’ve worked across polished frontends, core backend services, infrastructure, analytics, architecture, and engineering strategy. These days, I’m interested in what we should build, why it matters, and how we build it well.
I get deep into the technical work, but my impact naturally flows beyond code. I’ve led teams and projects, set technical direction, shaped product decisions, and helped engineers grow into bigger roles.
- Greenfield systems where "good" isn't obvious yet
- Full-stack problems that span more than one layer
- Scaling things that worked great until people started actually using them
- DevEx and tools that make work simpler and more enjoyable
I enjoy building and sharing quirky stuff. A fun one was kord, a web app that combines Spotify, SoundCloud, and YouTube into one interface so I could easily search and play my distributed music library. I also wander into dependencies I use, figure out why they're broken, and send a PR upstream.
In real life, you’ll usually find me at the beach with my dog, playing pool, helping out at my family’s Thai restaurant, or going down a rabbit hole I definitely did not have time for.
If you want to brainstorm an idea, rubber-duck a problem, need help, or just want to be friends, shoot me a message.
