Replaces Google Play publishing and AAB builds with APK releases and in-app update checks. Updates use F-Droid or GitHub according to the installer, with manual selection when unknown; GitHub downloads require consent and verify the digest, package, version and signing certificate before installation.
Validation: 62 tests, debug/release lint and APK builds passed via
bundle exec fastlane android checks. Both update sources were also checked against their live APIs on an Android 35 emulator.
