Position description

The Social Media Assistant (Github) will be a member of the Communications team and will be responsible for using social media to maximize awareness and traffic to Project Lockdown Github repositories. This position will also be generating reports of the numbers of visits etc.

Skills & Qualifications

Requirements:
-- Experience with GitHub and/or well-known project management tools
-- Experience in managing extensive repositories
-- Ability to learn and implement new skills quickly
-- Strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
-- Excellent communication and writing skills
-- Ability to focus attention to detail and accuracy
-- Able to dedicate at least 5 hours a week and attend regular team meetings
-- Able to participate in a highly dynamic environment as a part of a team.

Desirable
-- Familiarity with Slack
-- Prior experience with code used for GitHub
-- Readiness to use and experiment with new tools

Optional (We will provide support and training for any skills listed here)
-- Other languages absolutely welcome!
