} // scroll ↓ to execute each passI'm Prashanth, StarOne01. Final-year EEE student who got curious about where hardware meets software and fell into the compilers hole. Compilers, inference, and the systems around AI.
Started coding on a phone with Termux. Since then I've helped build a clinical AI system, built a film recommendation engine (not collaborative filtering!), played with embeddings and multilingual LLM work, and started sending patches to LLVM / MLIR. The maintainers have been nice about it.

Merged and in-flight work, with links, so you don't have to take my word for it:
- MLIR · VectorToSCF treated negative indices as in-bounds (#224843) · merged. fixed it, then started a Discourse RFC about whether indices are even allowed to be negative.
- MLIR · scf-for-loop-range-folding now folds
arith.addi %i, %i(#228725) · approved and merged. - clang · clang now shows diagnostics for missing parens in function-like macros (#123495) a
[Sema]diagnostic fix around function-like macros · merged.
- writing a toy compiler's lexer from scratch. It handles
defandextern, and has comments because nobody asked for them - learning MLIR dialects + passes, building on x86 + Sema work
- poking at local LLM inference, Ollama internals
