I am Shreyas Mishra, also known as NotY215.
I am an independent developer working on programming languages, compilers, systems, AI, media, games and developer tools.

I like going below the surface. If something is interesting, I want to understand how it works and eventually build my own version.

Vayu is my main programming-language project.
The direction is a Python-inspired language with native compilation, static typing and type inference, low-level control, C/C++ interoperability, tooling, packages, GUI and application development, games, graphics and future AI/ML support.

VCB means Vayu Compiler Backend.
It is a separate C++20 backend project focused on taking Vayu toward direct native code generation.
Current areas include:
- Textual SSA IR
- IR parser and printer
vcb dump- x86-64 code generation
- PE and ELF writers
- Runtime integration
VCB is developed independently so the backend can evolve without being tied to the rest of the compiler.

NotYVOS is an x86-64 operating-system project.
The project works with:
- C
- C++
- x86-64 Assembly
- Clang/LLVM
- CMake
- Ninja
- Limine
It also explores a PS3-compatible execution environment as part of the wider systems work.

Turn VCB into a capable native backend with its own IR, code generation, object writers and runtime path.
Compilers, IRs, code generation, linkers, operating systems, runtimes, file formats, networking, graphics and CPU architecture.
Not every project needs to become huge. Small experiments are part of learning too.
