Hi, I'm theBGuy 👋

I build open-source developer tools with a focus on making everyday development workflows better.

My primary project today is GitDesktop, a cross-platform Git client built with Rust, Tauri, and React. It goes beyond commits and branches to bring pull requests, reviews, issues, discussions, CI, releases, and other parts of the development cycle into the desktop app.

I also maintain other open-source projects ranging from VS Code extensions and developer utilities to the Kolbot ecosystem, and contribute upstream when I find problems in the tools I use.

Most of this work is built and maintained independently. Sponsorship helps cover things like:
