c4hero is a visual canvas for the C4 model. You drag, drop and connect in a real editor, and what gets saved is plain Structurizr DSL on your own machine. You can commit it, diff it and review it like any other code.

I built it because I wanted a proper visual editor for C4 without handing my architecture to someone else's cloud. So c4hero has no account, no server and no lock-in. It runs in your browser, works offline and is licensed Apache-2.0.

What it does today

• The full C4 view set (landscape, context, container, component, deployment and dynamic), with drill-through between levels
• Native Structurizr DSL, checked against the real Structurizr parser in CI, with a live code pane that syncs both ways
• !docs and ADRs shown next to the model
• Blast-radius analysis before you delete anything
• Export to PNG, SVG, a self-contained interactive HTML file, or an OKF knowledge bundle
• An optional AI assistant where you bring your own key, and nothing runs until you turn it on
