Video Format Selection Problem : Avc1 or Hevc who is H.264 ?

Hello,
How can I distinguish between the AVC1 and HEVC video codecs in the format suggestions offered by the software: H.264 (VOF-STS-1926-0) and (VOF-STS-1926-1)? I'm having this problem because my Freebox video player doesn't support the HEVC codec, and I'm having trouble differentiating between the two using the software.
In this video, ([https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/125654-000-A/qu-est-ce-qu-on-va-faire-de-toi/)]) if I select H.264, I get HEVC, but isn't H.264 the AVC1 format and H.265 the HEVC format?
Can you help me understand this?
